The November issue of Stone World magazine features a story on the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs at UNLV. Frazier Masonry provided structural CMU, brick veneer and mechanically fastened stone veneer services for this high profile, 120,000 square foot project which unifies the UNLV campus design through the use of red and beige sandstone. Frazier Masonry crews completed 24 CMU buildings in six and half months as part of a Soltek Pacific design build project. Frazier Masonry overcame sand storms, extreme winds and even a blanket of snow. Transportation challenges, lack of onsite water reserves and no utilities did not stop production. [They] exceeded expectations by completing the project 17 days ahead of the baseline schedule. As a Project Superintendent I look forward to working with Frazier Masonry in the future. --Joe Whipple - Project Superintendent - Soltek Pacific Construction
